Where’s the snow?

November 12, 2007

Hey everyone! I am really enjoying having this laptop and being able to remain comfortable in my recliner and still do the work I need to do online. It’s so nice.

So we returned safe and sound from our high school choir retreat and things went really well. I feel like we were able to accomplish what we needed to and learned all of the rest of the music for our Christmas concert. We even got a head start on a couple of songs that the kids will be performing in our Spring concert. God even started a work in several students hearts. I had the opportunity to share a few things I had on my heart and try to challenge the kids in their walk with Christ. God even opened up a door for me to be able to talk with several students. I have such a burden for my students and pray that God will do a deep work in their lives.

WE ARE SO READY FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK!! It’s only about a week away now and we are so ready for the holiday and even more for CHRISTMAS! It is crazy that we haven’t had any nasty weather yet here . . . hopefully we will have snow for Christmas this year. Rennah, however, thinks that as soon as we get snow on the ground, we get to go to Papa’s house and have Christmas. So maybe it’s a good thing we don’t have any snow yet.

Nessa is doing so well with her schedule. She has started sleeping very well at night, usually 5-6 hours before waking up . . . even a couple of nights where she slept 7 hours or more! So life is starting to settle in for the St. Clair family! More later!

New Laptop!

November 4, 2007

Praise the Lord for provision! The school where I work just provided me with a brand new laptop! They saw a “secret” Wal-mart sale and purchased and very nice laptop for about $300 for me! I am super excited. Hopefully I will be able to update a little more here now that I can sit on our comfortable couch and not in a painful wooden chair at our desktop. It’s so much nicer to work on the computer while you are comfortable.

Let’s see what’s new with us . . . we just had a great full cast rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast last Saturday . . . check out our B&B blog for videos and pictures. Then we took Rennah to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. She loved it! And actually beat me on several games that we played together! I couldn’t believe it! And get this . . . she won 50 tickets on ONE game that she played by herself! That was the TOP PRIZE on that game! I couldn’t believe her “luck”! It cracked me up! All together she won 270 tickets to get some nice prizes at the end.

We are doing well and Nessa continues to grow! I tell you what, they grow out of that newborn stage way too fast! Love you all! Keep us posted on your lives!

Family Visit!

October 24, 2007

We recently were able to visit my family and the Encounter Revival Team down in St. Joseph, MI. They were there for a week so I took a couple of days off of school in order for us to drive down and let my family meet little Nessa! We had a great visit! It was wonderful for us to be able to meet the Encounter Team as well and see the new ministry that God has placed my family in. They are so happy there and really enjoy the opportunities that God has given them to minister.

So we crashed in my parents trailer for a couple of nights and “Grammy” and “Papa” had some good time with Nessa and Rennah!

Papa and Nessa

My parents were very thankful for the time to visit with us and Rennah was extremely happy to be in the trailer and with her Aunts and Uncle.

I even had the awesome privilege of running a couple of rehearsals with the 24 Encounter Singers! That was a blast! I really enjoyed working with them. God has blessed my family with an amazing team to travel with this year.

Snuggle Time with Papa!

After is was all done, it was hard for us to leave and head back home and into “normal” life again. Part of me just wanted to stay and travel with them . . . but I am thankful for where God has us right now and am content to stay where He has placed us.

Thank you all for your prayers with the delivery and recovering process with Nessa and Sarah. Everything is going well . . . Sarah is recovering much better this time around, and Nessa is growing very quickly! Rennah is a wonderful BIG SISTER and helps around the house and demonstrates amazing love for her sister! God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family! I am so unworthy of it all!

Please stay in touch! We love all of our friends and just wish we could be with all of you all the time! Stay faithful to Him!

Family Update

May 11, 2007

Well, we are back in town and Tulip Time is in full swing here in Holland. Traffic is crazy around here these days with all of the tourists that Tulip Time attracts. After this weekend, things should get back to normal.

Choir Tour went well. We had a great time with the students and safety on the road. The choir placed first in their division with the second highest rating that they could have received from the judges. Also, my student accompanist, Chad Adkins, won the award for the best pianist out of all 40 schools that competed.

But the big news for us right now is that we are having another girl! We had our ultrasound on Wednesday and as far as we can tell, we are going to have another girl. Rennah is very excited. I will upload our pictures later. Hope everyone is doing well.

We’ll Always Be Friends!”

April 13, 2007

Here, Rennah was saying goodbye to her cousin Morgan. She walked up to her, gave her a BIG hug and said, “We’ll always be friends!” It was so cute that I had to have them “re-enact” it for the video. Enjoy my daughter, “The Cuteness”!

Rennah Sings “Father Abraham”

March 25, 2007

So our pastor mentioned this song in church this morning and so we thought we would have Rennah sing it for the video camera.  She doesn’t know it as well as the “Bushel and a Peck” song, but she still is cute singing it.  Enjoy!

Rennah Sings “Bushel and a Peck”

March 18, 2007

Our daughter is growing up so fast and yet sometimes we forget to take pictures or video of her to keep these precious memories. Today on the way home from church, she kept singing this song over and over and I just had to video it when we got home. Hope you enjoy our little singer! This goes out to all of you but especially to Grammy and Papa! We LOVE you!!

A Healthy Baby!

March 8, 2007

Thank you for praying for our doctor’s visit yesterday. Everything went very well and the baby is healthy and strong. The doctor reminded us that even though Sarah has been very sick, it is all a good sign that things are going well with the baby.

We took Rennah along with us yesterday and she was absolutely fascinated by everything in the doctor’s office. She kept saying, “It’s so COOL!” about everything she saw. When we were walking back into our room she waved at all of the nurses and loudly called out, “Hello Doctors!” All of the ladies laughed and told us how cute she was.

When we listened to the babies heartbeat (which was 163 for those of you that are interested) Rennah’s eyes widened and she giggled at the blue jelly on Mommy’s tummy. (She even prayed something about the blue jelly last night when I tucked her into bed! I couldn’t quite understand what she said, but I could tell that the blue jelly left quite an impression on her!)

One of the nurses at the office was a mother of one of my students, so when she saw us she came up to say hello and Rennah grabbed for her stethoscope. She had been eyeing the doctor’s in the room and now here was another one. The nurse let Rennah use it and Rennah ran around the office trying to hear all of the nurses heartbeats!

Needless to say, Rennah was quite the hit with the nurses and Sarah and I just laughed at her. All together, it was a good visit. Sarah was relieved to find out that things were fine with the baby and she can continue on with that knowledge.

The doctor told us that our official due date is September 28. Very close to Sarah’s birthday, so we may have two birthdays on the same day! That would be cool.

Well, thanks for reading. If you do read this blog, please leave a comment. I am curious to know who has followed us in our blog move. Let us know that you are out there! You don’t have to register with Word Press to comment, just leave your name and website or e-mail.

We love you all!
